The Lujiazui Bridge in Putuo District, Zhoushan City Zhejiang Province is a three span arch through tied -arch bridge. It has atotallength of 174o meters and a bridge length of 1.458 meters,with construction starting in 2006 To ensure the quality and safetyof the bridge’s operation, a bridge upgrading and renovation proiect was launched in July 202s. Product Function / Role in the Bridge
Prestressed steel strand Provides tensile strength to concrete girders, resisting bending and shear forces.
Anchor assembly (wedges, anchor plates) Transfers and locks the prestressing force at tendon ends, ensuring long‑term load retention.
Post‑tensioning jack Tensions strands to the required force; hydraulic cylinder pulls strand while wedges hold it.
Hydraulic oil pump Supplies high‑pressure oil to the jack, enabling controlled and synchronized tensioning.
Corrugated metal duct Forms the void in concrete for strand passage, allows post‑tensioning and later grouting.
Grouting pump & material Injects cement grout into ducts after tensioning, bonding strand to structure and preventing corrosion.
Tensioning monitoring system Measures elongation and pressure in real time, ensuring accuracy and safety of prestressing.
