Product Overview & Working Principle

The XQV MBV80‑B prestressed vacuum pump is specifically designed for post‑tensioning duct grouting. Its core function is to create a negative pressure environment by pre‑evacuating the duct before grouting, significantly improving grouting quality. The pump removes air, residual moisture and impurities from the duct, preventing voids or bubbles caused by trapped air. The negative pressure also reduces slurry flow resistance, allowing cement grout to fill long or multi‑bend ducts more completely.

Typically used together with screw or piston grouting pumps, it forms a “vacuum first, then grout” process — widely applied in bridge and high‑rise building post‑tensioning works (box girders, floor prestressing tendons).
